Both these phones are presented as entry-level 5G phones. It has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD. This display offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Moto G53j/G53y has a Snapdragon 480 Plus processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
If we talk about the cameras of these two phones then the Motorola G53j/G53y has a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
Talking about the battery, the company provide a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support on both phones.
You will find the My UX-based Android 13 pre-loaded operating system on this device.
In terms of security, it has a face unlock and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. As for connectivity features, both these Motorola phones have options like WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and a USB-C port. Also, you will see features like dual stereo speakers in this device.
The brand has launched the Moto G53j in one variant (4GB+128GB) priced at JPY 34,800. It is available in Ink Black and Arctic Silver colours.
On the other hand, the company has not yet given any information about the price of the Moto G53y. It is expected to come in Ink Black, Arctic Silver and Pale Pink colour options. Both phones go on sale in Japan on June 29.
