Whatsapp is working on two new features where you will find a different design in the chat attachment menu along with pin message features.
WAbetainfo shared in a report that WhatsApp will make these two features available in the Android beta 2.23.21.4 update via the Google Play Store. It is currently available to some limited beta testers.
Using the pin message feature, users can pin any of their messages and highlight them above the conversation.
That is, if it is a reference message or an important message, it will be convenient for other users to find it easily.
WAbetainfo also shared a screenshot showing that users can easily highlight important or frequently occurring messages above the conversation by pinning them.
Moreover, with the PIN message features, users will get some extra control, such as how long they want the PIN message to show, currently there are three options: 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. However, users can remove the PIN message even before the duration time if they want.
Pin message features may also be made available for individual conversations.
Along with this, other beta users have also noticed that there are some changes in the chat attachment menu. The updated chat attachment menu has the same content-sharing features. But here only you will see a new and modern look design.
WhatsApp PIN messages and redesigned chat attachment menu features are in development and currently available to some beta testers. These features will start rolling out in the next few weeks.
