WordPad: Microsoft saying goodbye wordpad from Windows

Microsoft not updating WordPad and plans to remove it from Windows in future updates.

Microsoft upgraded Notepad with features like autosave and automatic restoral of tabs. And after that, Microsoft shared this news.

Microsoft recommends using Word instead of Wordpad. Also, WordPad hasn't much attention.

Microsoft says, "We recommend Microsoft Word for rich text documents like .doc and .rtf and Windows Notepad for plain text documents like .txt."

You may see the word processor design like Windows 7’s Ribbon UI and after the update to windows 8, there are no changes.

And finally, Microsoft declares to remove Wordpad in the future update. Maybe in windows 12 in 2024.
