Tata Motors is soon going to launch its ambitious and completely different innovative Tata curvv suv.
According to a report by AutocarIndia, Tata Motors will launch the Tata curvv EV and ICE models in first quarter of 2024.
Like the Tata Nexon, the Tata CURVV will be available in both EV and ICE forms.
Tata Motors is targeting a combined annual sales volume of 48,000 for the Curvv brand.
The EV variant of the Tata Curve will be available for sale first. The homegrown carmaker will keep an AIM of selling 12,000 units of the Curve EV every year, while the remaining 36,000 units will be debuted by the ICE derivative.
The EV and ICE versions of the Tata Curve will be manufactured at Tata's Ranjangaon plant.
The Tata CURVV is likely to come in three powertrain options with one EV model and two ICE models.
The Tata Curvv EV variant will have single and dual motor setup options. One of these will be front wheel drive and the latter will have an all wheel drive configuration.
If we talk about the range then both are expected to be able to give a range of 400 to 500 km on a single charge.
The ICE version of the Curvv is expected to be powered by a new 1.2-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine.
A CNG derivative of the same powertrain is expected to join the lineup at a later stage.
